WB Postal Circle Postman/ Mail Guard selection procedure:
Candidates who have applied for postman or mail guard post in west Bengal postal circle know the selection process. Candidates will be selected based on the marks obtained in written examination. Candidates must have to score minimum qualifying marks in each section and overall. Merit list will be prepared by marks obtained in examination and qualified candidates will be allotted to the division / unit as per their indication in the online application based on their position in the merit list and availability of vacancy.
WB Postal Circle Postman/ Mail Guard Exam Syllabus and Pattern:
Written Examination comprise 3 parts Part A (General, knowledge, reasoning and analytical ability), Part B (Mathematics) and Part C (English language and Regional language). Part A and Part B have 25 questions in each section and Part C has 50 questions. Each question carries 1 mark. Total examination time duration is 90 minutes. All questions will be of objective type multiple choice questions. Selection is based on Divisional level merit from among the qualified candidates applied for the Division / Unit concerned.
Minimum qualifying marks for WB Postal Circle Postman/ Mail Guard Exam 2015:
|Unreserved candidates (OC)||10 marks in each part and 40% in aggregate. The candidate has to qualify in each part i.e. part i.e. Part A, B, C & D besides securing prescribed aggregate marks.|
