Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released an advertisement for recruitment of 372 Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) Vacancies in 2015. UPPSC invites online applications from interested and eligible candidates for these vacancies. Candidates who are interested in these vacancies may read below information and then apply if you suitable for post. Application fee is Rs. 125/- for General and OBC candidates and Rs. 65/- for SC/ ST candidates. No application fee is required for physically handicapped candidates. Interested candidates fill the application fee and download the e-Challan form. Pay the application fee in any nationalized bank and submit application form on or before the closing date. Without application fee any application form will not be accepted. Eligibility Criteria to apply Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) Post:
Candidates who are willing to apply online for APO vacancies must have passed Degree in Law from any recognized university established by Law in India. Candidates who have minimum 3 years experience or obtained “B” certificated from NCC are more preferable. Candidate age should be attained 21 years but not exceeded 40 years as on 1st July 2015. Upper age relaxation is applicable for reservation candidates as per government rules. Candidates will be selected based on the performance in preliminary exam, main exam and personal interview. Preliminary examination is only qualifying examination for mains and interview. Final selection will be done based on the marks obtained in mains and interview.
UPPSC APO Preliminary Exam Syllabus & Pattern:
Preliminary examination will be of objective type multiple choice questions. There are total 150 questions and each question carries 1 mark. Question papers comprises 2 sections part I and Part II. Part 1 is General knowledge section covers general science, current events of national and international important, history of India, Indian National Movement, Indian Polity & Economy and world geography and population. Part II paper is General Awareness covers Indian penal Code, Indian Evidence Act, Criminal procedure code and UP Police and regulations under this act.
