SBI PO Exam 2015 Changed Syllabus & Pattern: State bank of India has declared PO Recruitment notification. SBI invites online applications from Indian citizens those who eligible for PO posts. Lakhs of candidates are interested to apply for these vacancies. The competition is very high. At this time SBI has also changed the syllabus and pattern for selection. SBI has introduced preliminary examination for filtering maximum candidates at the starting level and shortlist the candidates for main exam in the ratio of 1:20. So candidates are required to know the changed syllabus and pattern of SBI PO Examination.
SBI PO Exam 2015 New Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be selected based on the performance in following stages
Stage I: preliminary examination
SBI PO 2015 Preliminary Exam Syllabus and pattern:
Preliminary examination questions will be of objective type multiple choices. Total marks for this examination is 100 and time duration is 1 hour. Preliminary examination comprises 3 sections English, quantitative aptitude and reasoning ability. Each question carry 1 mark. Candidates are required to get minimum qualifying marks in each section decided by SBI. based on the marks in preliminary examination SBI will prepare the shortlist for main examination.

Stage II: main Examination
SBI PO 2015 Main Exam Syllabus and pattern:
Main examination consists of two tests those are objective type test for 200 marks and descriptive type test for 50 marks. Both tests will be conducted through online. Objective type test comprises 4 sections English, General awareness, Data analysis & interpretation and reasoning. Each section have 50 questions and each question carry 1 mark. Time duration for objective type examination is 2 hours. Descriptive test of 1 hour with 50 marks will be test of English language.

Candidates are required to secure qualifying marks in each section and aggregate in objective type test and also descriptive test. Qualifying marks will be decided by the SBI.
Stage III: Group Discussion & Personal Interview
Candidates who will have qualified in main examination will be called for GD and PI. 20 marks fopr GD and 30 marks for PI. Final selection will be done based on the marks obtained in main examination are converted to 75 and marks obtained in GD and PI are converted to 25. Based on the aggregate marks SBI will declare the final selection list.
