Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was successfully conducted Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Examination on 4th, 10th 11th April 2015. Approximately 13 Lakhs students were appeared in JEE Main 2015. Now JEE was released paper 1 score and published list of top 150000 candidates who will be appearing in JEE Advanced. JEE will declare all India rank paper 1 and paper2 on 7th July 2015. Candidates have to download all India rank after declaration of AIR of JEE main. Candidates who will be scored top in examination only appearing in top 150000 and those candidates are only eligible to appear in JEE Advanced.
Students who have completed the class 12/equivalent qualifying Examination and interested to get the admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, Other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by participating State Governments must have to qualify in Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main). The Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.) of JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs.
The States of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Nagaland, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Odisha have joined JEE (Main) system. Therefore, the candidates seeking admission to the institutions in these states, which were earlier admitting based on their State Level Examination, are also advised to fill in the JEE (Main) – 2015 application form online.
